Morin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Gibbs lands the left hand. Morin's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Morin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Morin checks a leg kick. A jab from Morin finds it's way through Gibbs's defenses. #CL# Gibbs takes the fight into the clinch. #TD# Gibbs manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Morin stops Gibbs from standing up. Morin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morin tries to stand but Gibbs is controlling from the bottom. Gibbs definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Gibbs tried to score with a low kick but Morin checks it. It seemed like Morin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Gibbs throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Morin on the side of the head. Gibbs throws a head kick that misses. A nice side step and Morin releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Gibbs throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Morin to counter with a crisp jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Gibbs. Morin does a little dance to reset his feet. Gibbs gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Gibbs tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Morin is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Gibbs buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Gibbs!! Gibbs is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Morin throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Rocci moves to clinch but Gibbs breaks away and Gibbs counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CL2# Gibbs gets tackled into the cage by Rocci. Rocci maintains the clinch. Rocci tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Gibbs is looking to stand up but Rocci isn't so interested in that idea. Rocci stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gibbs swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gibbs trying to keep a closed guard but Rocci is proving a slippery customer.

Mike Rocci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rocci tries to move into range but Gibbs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gibbs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gibbs keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rocci! This one is all over!

A left lands for Gibbs. Curtis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gibbs moves away. Gibbs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#R1# Gibbs lands with an uppercut that bounces Fhinshfats off the cage and back into range. Gibbs fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fhinshfats on the side of the head. Gibbs misses with a head kick.
Gibbs slaps away a takedown attempt from Fhinshfats, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fhinshfats darts in looking for a takedown but Gibbs gets double underhooks and turns Fhinshfats into the cage. Gibbs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gibbs wants it to stay on the feet. Gibbs has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Comeon Fhinshfats. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fhinshfats drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Fhinshfats fails with a takedown attempt. Fhinshfats gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gibbs counters with a one-two to the body. Gibbs lands with a hook. Fhinshfats tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fhinshfats dives in and grabs Gibbs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gibbs pushes down on Fhinshfats's head and hops out. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gibbs! But no joy. Gibbs throws a one two combo.

Fhinshfats complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Oh Gibbs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#CL# Gibbs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baals, pushing him back against the cage. Gibbs jumps guard but Baals stands there with Gibbs around his waist. Gibbs gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gibbs can do anything to dispel that myth. Radjansky is fending him off so far but Gibbs persists. Nope, Radjansky circles away and we're back to standing. Radjansky works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Gibbs has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight. Radjansky lands with a hook. Gibbs tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Radjansky jabs Gibbs to the body, keeping him at a distance. Radjansky thuds a left hand into Gibbs's body. Radjansky scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gibbs in his tracks. Black drops down looking for a counter takedown but Gibbs sprawls and moves away. Gibbs tries for a takedown but Black sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Black tries to counter with a takedown but Gibbs is quick to defend against it. Gibbs connects with a good right hand that stumbles Black. Black circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gibbs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Black has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gibbs regains guard immediately. Gibbs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position.
