#R1# Vettori throws a leg kick that is checked and Dimelo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vettori thinking. Vettori tries to move into range but Dimelo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Marvin Vettori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vettori takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dimelo thuds a left hand into Vettori's body. Dimelo throws a leg kick which misses Vettori's front leg but catches the back leg as Vettori tries to avoid it. Dimelo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vettori on the side of the head.#CUT2# It looks like Marvin Vettori has been cut. A low kick from Vettori is predictable there and Dimelo counters with a right hand to the body. Dimelo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dimelo lands a front kick. Vettori takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
#ROC2# Vettori is rocked! Vettori leaves his chin hanging out and Dimelo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Vettori crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

#R1# Finnigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vettori has his takedown stuffed and Finnigan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Vettori tries for a takedown but Finnigan circles away easily and Finnigan counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CUT2# It looks like Marvin Vettori has been cut. Vettori tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Finnigan swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marvin Vettori. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good exchange - Finnigan coming out on top. Vettori looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Finnigan stuffs the takedown. Finnigan slaps away a takedown attempt from Vettori, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vettori shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Finnigan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vettori fails with the takedown and Finnigan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Vettori misses with a takedown attempt and Finnigan counters with a lovely shot to the body. Finnigan lands a jab to the head.
#T1# Vettori walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Finnigan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vettori looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Finnigan is fending him off so far but Vettori persists. Nope, Finnigan circles away and we're back to standing. Finnigan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vettori had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into p�t�. Vettori misses with a takedown attempt and Finnigan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Vettori is breathing heavily. Finnigan lands a jab to the nose.#ROC2# Vettori is rocked! Finnigan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Vettori takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Finnigan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

#R1##TD2# Evans shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vettori manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Vettori tries to strike from the bottom.
Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vettori. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Evans is looking to stand up but Vettori won't let him. #SUB# Vettori is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Evans is aware though and is defending well. Vettori doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
#SUB# Vettori has his foot on Evans's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Evans works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB# Vettori has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB# Evans got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vettori has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evans has managed to get both his arms back between Vettori's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evans is stalling in the full guard. Evans makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#T1##SUB# Vettori looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Evans lands a couple of elbows. Evans engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #SUB# Vettori working for a triangle but Evans defends it easily.
Evans is looking to stand up but Vettori won't let him. Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans wants to stand but Vettori is controlling his posture from full guard. #T2##SU2# Evans stands up from Vettori's guard - Evans perhaps looking for a knockout. Vettori shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Evans counters with a body kick. Vettori shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vettori sets himself, and Evans steps forward looking for the clinch! Vettori avoids it this time. Vettori blocks a head kick by Evans.

Vettori drops down looking for a counter takedown but Evans sprawls and moves away. Marvin Vettori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Evans shoots in for a double leg but Vettori sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Evans misses with a two punch combination.
#CL2# Evans moves into range and clinches up with Vettori. The referee is keeping an eye on Evans - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Vettori has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Evans avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.#T3# Evans stalling against the cage.
#TD2# Evans turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Evans manages to end up in side control. Vettori is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Evans prevents Vettori from improving his position. Vettori misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Vettori flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Vettori has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Evans looks winded! Vettori gets full guard. Vettori trying to strike off his back.

Evans has his hands clasped together but Vettori extends and breaks Evans's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Vettori.

#R1# Hart shoots for a takedown but Vettori saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Watari Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hart looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Vettori fails with a takedown attempt. Hart shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vettori as he jumps to the side. Hart shoots in for a takedown but Vettori shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And Vettori tries to counter it with a takedown but Hart pushes his down on his head and steps out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Watari Hart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vettori shoots in for a takedown but Hart shows good takedown defense. Nice takedown defense from Hart. No joy for Vettori on that attempt. Hart displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vettori. Hart half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Vettori closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hart quickly recovers to half guard. Hart is looking to get back to is feet but Vettori passes into side control.
#SUB2# Vettori is working to tighten his grip on Hart's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hart has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vettori is really squeezing tight and eventually Hart passes out! Vettori breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

#R1# A combination from Kinte does no damage. #TD2# Vettori gets caught napping as Kinte dives in and scores a takedown. Vettori manages to retain guard. Kinte's corner is telling him to maintain position.#SUB# Kinte is posturing up here but Vettori has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kinte tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kinte has to tap! Slick submission there by Vettori!

#R1# Burrows shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vettori sprawls well. Vettori wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burrows gets slowly back to his feet. Burrows misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's better than Vettori was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#SUB2# Vettori tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vettori has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Burrows really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB2# Vettori is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burrows knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB2# Vettori in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Burrows is tapping! #R1# Vettori tries for a takedown but Holofernes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vettori has his takedown stuffed#TD2# and Holofernes counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Holofernes not doing much here.
Vettori tries to get to full guard but Holofernes has control of the leg. #SUB# Vettori looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Holofernes performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Vettori has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Holofernes. Oh but Vettori has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Holofernes goes limp - he's gone! Vettori jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
