Crespo comes to the ring accompanied by Toxic Waltz. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Aldo Crespo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Carlos Maia! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

Maia is not content to let Boo control the position. Maia tries to bench press Boo off him but Boo keeps the position. Boo grinds an elbow into Maia's temple. Maia avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Boo. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maia stops Boo from passing to mount. Maia tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maia manages to get back to half guard. Maia makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Maia.#SUB2# Maia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB2# Boo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Maia has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle.
