Carter throws a lazy uppercut
and Homicide counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carter thinking.
Homicide tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Homicide.
Carter throws a jab when Homicide was well out of range.
Homicide lands with a good body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Homicide. Those never looked like landing.
Carter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Face fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Face misses with a takedown attempt - Carter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Face looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Happy Face. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Carter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#T1#

Dominic Carter spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dominic Carter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
