Jarstfer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wood throws a quick counter head kick but Jarstfer was just out of range. Wood looks to throw a body kick#TD2# and Jarstfer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jarstfer. Jarstfer tries to free his leg and advance position but Wood is retaining full guard. #SUB# Wood looking for a guillotine here but Jarstfer defends easily.

Dee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A little feinted left hand from Wood on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dee fails to land with a series of punches.
It looked like Wood wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Dee lands with a nice body punch. Wood blocks the body kick.
#CL2# Dee instigates a clinch. Dee wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wood has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Wood tries to pull guard but Dee won't allow it.

Wood lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dee wants to sweep but no luck. Dee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wood is fighting to break Dee's control of his arms but Dee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Wood throws a big elbow that misses. #SUB2# Dee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wood gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dee throws a head kick that misses. Wood quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Dee tries to score with a low kick but Wood moves his leg out of the way. It appears Wood was looking to counter with a kick there.#CL2# Dee moves into the clinch successfully.
Wood jumps guard but Dee turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Wood fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arlen Wood. That's going to take a lot out of him. A frustrated look appears on Dee's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dee is looking to break free of the clinch but Wood has double underhooks. #T4##TD2# Dee successfully pulls guard.
Dee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dee wants to stand but Wood is controlling the position. Wood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wood is in close to Dee's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wood sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wood trying to control but Dee is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wood lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Wood is tightening it up a little... Dee has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dee reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dee taps out! Nice BJJ there by Wood!

Salinas moves into range and connects with a jab. A lazy left from Salinas finds it's target. Wood avoids a kick to the body.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wood looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hansson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Gustav Hansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hansson lands with a right hand. #CUT2# It looks like Arlen Wood has been cut. Hansson misses the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hansson is fending him off so far but Wood persists. Nope, Hansson circles away and we're back to standing. Wood really is a fat lump. Wood throws an overhand right that lands on Hansson's shoulder, as Hansson tries to avoid the shot. Hansson throws a counter combo.#TD2# Hansson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.#ES# Wood has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hansson is on him like a limpet, forcing Wood back against the cage.#T1# Wood blocks a body shot from Hansson. Wood manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hansson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hansson is looking to work some ground and pound but Wood has wrist control. Hansson passes Wood's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #T2# Hansson working Wood over with strikes. Wood tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Hansson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hansson uses his free foot to push down on Wood's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wood. This has been an exciting period of action! Hansson is in the full mount, landing strikes. #ROC2# Wood is rocked! Wood has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

#R1##KD2# Bull feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wood sprawling to the canvas! Wood rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bull finish him?!

Wood takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Bull sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Wood bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! #R1# Power connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wood's hands.#CUT2# It looks like Arlen Wood has been cut. Wood on the wrong end of a nice hook. Power is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Wood flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Wood is out cold! Power holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
