#R1# Ragnarok connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Velez's hands. No luck with that takedown attempt from Velez. Velez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Velez darts in looking for a takedown but Ragnarok gets double underhooks and turns Velez into the cage. Ragnarok dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Velez. That did some damage!#TD# Velez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ragnarok wants to get back to his feet but Velez is dominant here and he's now got Ragnarok's back! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ragnarok trying to control the position but Velez manages to sink in the hooks. #SUB# Velez has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Ragnarok is in real trouble here. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Chase preventing the sweep. Velez seems keen to control Chase's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Chase drops back looking for a leg! Velez is in trouble here! Jackson closes the distance but Velez moves to the side #TD# and Velez counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Velez with the ground and pound but Jackson uses the opportunity to regain guard. Velez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Velez is one step ahead there. Velez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jackson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. #T1##SU# Velez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Velez closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Velez pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jackson with a hook. Jackson drops Velez with a huge uppercut! Velez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Jackson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

After the fight, Bobby Jackson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. Velez throwing strikes but missing. Velez with a flurry of punches that miss. Velez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Long is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Velez wants to get back to his feet.#T1# Long sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Velez defending well though. Long is trying to control. Velez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Velez keeping control of the position. Velez won't allow Long to pass to mount. He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Velez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
