Cleve throws a sloppy head kick and Vendarra moves out of range easily. Vendarra takes a swing at Cleve's ribcage but misses. Cleve on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vendarra. Vendarra obviously looking to wear him down.
Cleve throws a body kick that misses and Vendarra counters with an inside leg kick. Cleve throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vendarra's head. Vendarra moves into range and connects with a jab. Cleve feints and then cracks Vendarra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vendarra down. Vendarra with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vendarra on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Vendarra dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cleve. That did some damage! Cleve shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Cleve throws a lazy body kick and Vendarra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cleve. Vendarra looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Vendarra connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cleve. Cleve circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Vendarra is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Cleve misses with a body kick. Vendarra sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Vendarra is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Vendarra is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Nice uppercut there from Cleve. Vendarra misses with a hook. Cleve ducked under it nicely. Vendarra throws a low kick but Cleve avoids it. Cleve throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cleve throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Vendarra tried to counter with a leg kick but Cleve avoided it. Vendarra is looking to slow Cleve down with leg kicks. Cleve turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Cleve uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vendarra. Cleve takes one on the chin but seems OK.

#R1# A head kick from Cleve lands but Knox takes it in his stride. Cleve throws a push kick but Knox slaps the foot to one side. Cleve walks into a straight right hand from Knox. Cleve tries to land a body kick and Knox counters with a nice uppercut. Cleve walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Cleve fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Knox has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Knox has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cleve. Knox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cleve misses with a body kick. Cleve connects with a leg kick. Knox looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Cleve misses with a kick to the body and Knox makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knox checks a low kick from Cleve. Miodrag Cleve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knox throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Cleve counters with a low kick, right behind Knox 's knee. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cleve.

#R1##TD# Chester dives in and scores a takedown into Cleve's guard. Cleve is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chester trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cleve seems keen to control Chester's posture. We've been hearing good reports from Chester's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Chester might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chester in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cleve keeping moving, preventing Chester from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cleve looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cleve managing to control the position. It looked like Cleve was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Snow.#TD2# Snow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cleve's guard. Cleve is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cleve looking for a sweep. Not yet Cleve, not yet. #SUB# Cleve is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Snow is aware though and is defending well. Snow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cleve swivels though and keeps the full guard. Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but Cleve is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cleve manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cleve thows a body kick. Snow tries to catch it but that hurt him.
