Efrain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Efrain tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lamar Harper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Efrain misses the shot to the body. Harper shoots in but no luck this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Efrain throws a series of strikes that have Harper backpedaling.

Efrain tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL# McGrady takes the fight into the clinch. Efrain is trying to force a seperation but McGrady has the dominant position. Efrain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McGrady is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGrady works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
#BC# McGrady breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #TD# McGrady closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Efrain to the mat! Efrain manages to get full guard. #SUB2# McGrady avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McGrady is looking to stand up but Efrain won't let him. #T1# Efrain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGrady. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Efrain working a defensive guard here.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Efrain has eaten all the pies! McGrady content to stall in guard here. McGrady sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Efrain's guard. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McGrady is looking to take a break and control but Efrain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
