#BC# Combs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Combs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jn Pierre avoids the head kick by Combs.
#TD2# Jn Pierre is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Combs's half guard.#SU2# Jn Pierre stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Combs to get to his feet. #TD2# Jn Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jn Pierre looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jn Pierre trying to control from half guard but Combs is working away. #T1# Combs keeps control of the position for the meantime. Jn Pierre stalling away here and it's allowed Combs to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Mike Jn Pierre is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jn Pierre takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Combs doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Smith is looking for a sweep. Combs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Combs has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Smith tries to hold on but Combs pushes him away. #T1# Smith is trying desperately to improve position. Combs really is a fat lump.#SUB# Combs has hold of Smith's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Combs wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#TD2# Taylor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Taylor showed some decent athleticism there. Taylor scores with a couple of good hammerfists.#ES# Combs has one foot on Taylor's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Combs really is a fat lump. Taylor misses with an attempted mid kick.
Taylor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Combs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
