A lazy left from County Jr finds it's target.
County Jr lands a jab.#CUT2#
It looks like Sean Watson has been cut.
County Jr circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Watson to the canvas! Watson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - County Jr keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brisco County Jr !

Lawrence fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Watson, pushing him back against the cage.
Lawrence on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lawrence is leaning against Watson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Lawrence definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Watson throws a head punch that misses.
Lawrence has Watson pressed against the cage.
A short right from Lawrence on the inside.
Lawrence scores with a shot to the side of Watson's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Watson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Lawrence will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Watson up against the cage.
Lawrence lands a right hand that snaps the head of Watson backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Lawrence.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lawrence creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Watson tries a knee to the head but Lawrence blocks it.

A punch lands to the side of Watson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A combination from Watson does no damage.
The crowd cheers as County Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Watson doesn't seem phased though.
County Jr batters Watson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Watson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as County Jr lands a final crushing right hand to drop Watson to the mat with a gruesome thud! County Jr is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Brisco County Jr !
After winning the bout, Brisco County Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Hoover wants to clinch up but Watson keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hoover looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Watson blocks a head kick by Hoover.
Watson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hoover was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.#CL2#
Watson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Watson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Watson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hoover.

Watson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hoover wants to control but Watson postures up.
Watson is working Hoover over with some ground and pound from side control.

Hoover wants to get back to his feet but Watson is dominant here and he's now got Hoover's back!
Watson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Watson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Watson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Watson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Watson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hoover under the eye.#ROC2#
Hoover is rocked!
Hoover on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Watson. Watson obviously looking to wear him down.
Oh Hoover is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#CL2#

Watson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Watson manages to end up in side control.
Watson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hoover down.
Watson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Hoover looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Watson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Sean Watson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
