#R1# Bishop misses with a jab to the body
and Patton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Patton throws a leg kick but Bishop checks it. #CL# Bishop clinches up with Patton and pushes him back against the cage. A short body shot lands from Bishop as the two fighters clinch.
Bishop tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bishop lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Patton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bishop pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bishop tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Patton was well out of range. Poor timing from Bishop. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Bishop has closed the distance and engaged Patton in a clinch.
Patton is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bishop to keep the fight standing. Bishop lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Patton is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bishop gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. I was talking to Bishop's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Jackson Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Patton. Bishop lands an elbow inside. #T1# An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bishop. Bishop tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Patton wants to break the clinch but can't.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Patton. Bishop lands a hook to the side of the head. Bishop landing knees to the body.
Bishop lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Bishop lands a right hand. Patton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bishop is stalling here.
Bishop makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bishop misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Patton.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bishop takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #T2# Bishop with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Bishop tries to land knees in the clinch but Patton avoids the damage to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Patton blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bishop throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pattons head. Bishop is leaning against Patton and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Bishop misses with a short punch on the inside. A nice right hand lands inside from Bishop. Patton dodges an elbow strike from Bishop.
Bishop lands an elbow that stopped Patton in his tracks for a moment. Bishop lands with a short shot to the head. Patton has Bishop pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bishop manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bishop lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. #T3# Patton prevents a body shot from Bishop. Bishop lands a nice shot to the body. Patton looks winded! Bishop lands a body shot in the clinch.
Patton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bishop lands an uppercut. Bishop goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bishop scores with an uppercut up the middle. Bishop lands a hook that snaps the head of Patton backwards. #ROC# Patton is rocked! Bishop throws a big uppercut that drops Patton! More strikes from Bishop and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Patton lies dazed against the cage as Bishop celebrates with his cornermen!

#R1# Patton lands with an overhand left.#CL2# Patton closes the distance and clinches. Frost tries to pull guard but Patton holds him up against the ropes and eventually Frost drops back down to his feet.
Patton gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Frost.
#TD2# Patton ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Patton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Patton can do anything to dispel that myth. Frost tries to free his leg and advance position but Patton is retaining full guard. Patton trying to keep a closed guard but Frost is proving a slippery customer.
#SUB2# Patton looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost stands and throws Patton's legs to the side, diving into side control. #SUB# Frost tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Patton wants to control but Frost postures up.#T1# Frost in side control, throwing shots but Patton defends. Patton tries to buck Frost off but Frost is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Patton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Frost sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Patton is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Patton is trying to improve his position. Frost has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Frost is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Patton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Frost working away.#T2##SUB# Frost looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Patton tries to improve position but can't. #SUB# Frost in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Patton is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
