Vardy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moreno manages to avoid it.

Vardy's coach down at Fight Factory was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vardy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Moreno takes a swing at Vardy's ribcage but misses.
Vardy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moreno .
Moreno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vardy doesn't succeed with the takedown

Cartagena is trying to stand back up but Vardy is controlling him

Cartagena connects with a nice cross there... Vardy is looking wobbly and Cartagena recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Vardy to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Cartagena jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Don Cartagena decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Vardy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vardy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Vardy lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Bobby! Vardy senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Bobby out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
