Takahashi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Takahashi tries for a takedown but Pecilli circles away easily#CL2# and Pecilli counters by moving into the clinch. Pecilli creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Takahashi 's defenses. Pecilli gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Takahashi being controlled against the cage. Pecilli lands an uppercut. Pecilli lands a left hand that snaps the head of Takahashi backwards. Pecilli lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Takahashi . Pecilli works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pecilli stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

#R1# Suuou tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takahashi swivels and escapes.#TD2# Suuou fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takahashi sprawls well initially but Suuou persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Takahashi is trying to get back to full guard. Suuou seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Takahashi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Takahashi tries to roll over but Suuou keeps him under control. Suuou slows the pace down in half guard. Takahashi is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takahashi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Suuou controlling the action here. Takahashi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Suuou's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Suuou's back!#T1##SUB# Suuou won't enjoy being in this position. #R1# Souza connects with a good right hand that stumbles Takahashi . Takahashi circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Souza looks to land a right hand but Takahashi moved out of range. Takahashi half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Souza ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takahashi moves away. Takahashi on the wrong end of a nice jab. Souza throws a hook but Takahashi avoids it easily. Takahashi attempts a counter takedown but Souza avoids it well and moves away. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Souza! Takahashi is out on his feet! Souza rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Takahashi is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Takahashi is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Takahashi tries to free his leg and advance position but Fairbanks is retaining full guard. Takahashi trying to control but Fairbanks is working from the bottom. Takahashi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fairbanks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Takahashi manages to get himself to full guard.

Campana stuffs the takedown attempt from Takahashi . Takahashi gets slowly back to his feet. Takahashi slips a jab from Campana. No luck with that takedown attempt from Takahashi . Carlixto Campana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keoji Takahashi . Campana throws a shot from downtown. Takahashi moves away and avoids it.
