and Novotas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Esposito definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It seemed like Novotas was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Novotas's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Novotas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Tumulak slips a straight right by Novotas.
Tumulak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Tumulak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Novotas was covering up waiting for the punch and Tumulak finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tumulak is pushing down on Novotas's leg trying to pass to half guard. Novotas is fighting to maintain full guard but Tumulak has managed to sneak the leg through.
