Solomons has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tzovalzeck is landing a low percentage of strikes. Tzovalzeck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Solomons darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A lazy left from Solomons finds it's target. Solomons jabbing away but nothing is landing. Solomons lands an overhand right. Solomons throws a body shot but no joy. An attempted straight right counter from Tzovalzeck misses the target. Alfie Solomons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Solomons works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Solomons slips under a jab from Tzovalzeck. Solomons takes a body punch but keeps moving. Solomons scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tzovalzeck doesn't seem bothered though. Solomons wants to slow Tzovalzeck down by chopping away at his legs. Tzovalzeck topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Solomons dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Solomons!

#R1##TD2# Tzovalzeck changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hawtry looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hawtry's coaches at The Revolution have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tzovalzeck trying to control the action but Hawtry is working from the bottom. Hawtry is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Tzovalzeck is controlling the pace.
Hawtry wants to control but Tzovalzeck is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Tzovalzeck is looking for a kimura but Hawtry is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tzovalzeck to get the leverage. Tzovalzeck doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hawtry counters with a crisp right that sends Tzovalzeck to the canvas! Hawtry follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

and Adedji counters with a straight right hand. Tzovalzeck takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tzovalzeck waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Adedji.#CL2# Adedji closes the distance and pushes Tzovalzeck back into the cage. Tzovalzeck wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Adedji throws a punch but it's blocked by Tzovalzeck. Adedji working some nice short punches in the clinch. Tzovalzeck is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Adedji is struggling to control the position. Adedji lands a shoulder strike. A nice left hand lands by Adedji.

#TD# and Tzovalzeck counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tzovalzeck. McBarz is looking to stand back up but Tzovalzeck counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by McBarz. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#REVB##SUB# Tzovalzeck is working for a submission of some sort.

McBarz tries to get to full guard but Tzovalzeck has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McBarz is staying active underneath Tzovalzeck, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
