Tumulak tries to get back to half guard but can't.#SUB2# Monira is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tumulak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tumulak is looking for a sweep. Monira lands a nice forearm strike. Tumulak is looking to regain half guard here but Monira keeps moving and retains side control. Tumulak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tumulak tries to get out of the position. Monira scoring with punches from side control. Tumulak tries to improve position but can't. Monira landing strikes. Monira misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

#R1##TD2# Monira shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. ReConnor wants to get back to full guard. Monira working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Monira thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Monira takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Monira is looking to take a break and control but ReConnor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #SUB# ReConnor has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Monira. Oh but ReConnor has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Monira goes limp - he's gone! ReConnor jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

#R1##TD# Monira gets the takedown into side control. Monira tries to score with some ground and pound. Rounded controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rounded can't do much from the bottom here. Rounded is looking to reverse the position. Rounded taking a bit of punishment here - Monira scoring with strikes. Rounded wants to get back to his feet. Monira tries to score with some ground and pound. Rounded controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rounded can't do much from the bottom here. Rounded trying his best to control but Monira has mounted him. Monira can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rounded is looking to escape. Monira working away from the top, dropping strikes.#SUB# Monira has hold of Rounded's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rounded manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Monira has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rounded's face.

#R1# Wagner ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wagner lands with a shot to the body. Monira shoots in looking for a takedown. Wagner tries to sprawl out of it but Monira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wagner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Wagner. No joy for Monira on that attempt. Wagner throws out a powerful jab. Monira with a poor takedown and Wagner counters with a straight right hand. Micke Wagner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Polavic Monira. Monira will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wagner is stalking Monira. Monira circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Wagner, and it's lights out! Monira really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

#R1##TD# Ragnarson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Monira taking a bit of punishment here - Ragnarson scoring with strikes. Monira taking punishment in the form of punches.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Monira can do anything to dispel that myth. Monira takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
#ROC# Monira is rocked! Monira gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Monira is still in real trouble! Can Ragnarson finish him? Ragnarson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Monira is out cold! Ragnarson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

#R1# Bosch stuffs the takedown attempt from Monira. Monira gets slowly back to his feet. Monira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bosch avoids it really well and circles away. Bosch tries a quick counter leg kick but Monira is wise to it. Bosch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Monira shoots in for a takedown but Bosch shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Polavic Monira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bosch misses with a two punch combination.

Twostein rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Monira moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Twostein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Twostein stuffs the takedown attempt from Monira. Monira gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Polavic Monira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Monira dives in for a single leg takedown but Twostein sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sloppy strikes from Twostein. Those never looked like landing. This has been an exciting period of action! Twostein is looking to regain half guard here but Monira keeps moving and retains side control. Monira working the ground and pound. Twostein takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Monira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Monira works to advance to full mount. Twostein defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Monira cracks Twostein with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
#T3# Monira landing strikes from the mount and Twostein is in trouble! Monira lands a couple of good shots and Twostein has given up his back, trying to escape the position! I really don't envy Twostein right now.

Monira throws a wild hook but Rurik just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Monira gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Rurik raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Carter landing some decent shots from guard. Monira will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Monira will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nicholson's guard. Ground and pound from Monira. #ROC2# Nicholson is rocked!#SUB2# Monira is looking for a kimura but Nicholson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Monira to get the leverage.
