#R1# Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sergeant sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sergeant as he jumps to the side. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Gracie enables Sergeant to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gracie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sergeant must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sergeant is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sergeant trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Sergeant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sergeant is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Sergeant landing some decent shots from guard. Sergeant looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sergeant trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sergeant lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
#T2# Sergeant jabs Gracie to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Sergeant drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gracie defends it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sergeant tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sergeant to the ground. Sergeant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jordan Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown attempt by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Sergeant, which made it look bad. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sergeant pinned against the cage. Sergeant gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sergeant stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.#TD2# Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sergeant is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #T3# Sergeant lands a couple of elbows. Sergeant is working Gracie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sergeant makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Sergeant works over Gracie with some ground and pound from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sergeant not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Sergeant postures up and lands a big shot to Gracie's brow. #SUB# Gracie working for a triangle but Sergeant defends it easily.

Dan Sergeant dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Nice sprawl there from Sergeant as Gracie shoots in. Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sergeant avoids it really well and circles away. Sergeant has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Dan Sergeant is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sergeant lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.
Sergeant connects with a right hand. Gracie shakes it off. Jab from Sergeant. Gracie shoots in and drives through. Sergeant sprawls well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Sergeant has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Donk. Sergeant catches Gracie right on the button with a cross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sergeant controls the pace.#T1# Let's hope that Sergeant has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Sergeant forces his way into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sergeant connects with a nice short shot to Gracie's temple. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sergeant content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Sergeant. Sergeant lands with a punch from half guard. Sergeant missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sergeant working over Gracie with some ground and pound. Gracie looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dan Sergeant has got the better of the ground game so far.#T3# Sergeant stalling. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sergeant connects with a jab. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sergeant throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.#TD2# Sergeant looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sergeant stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position. #T4# Sergeant with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sergeant slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sergeant stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gracie being controlled here, momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Sergeant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! #R3# Gracie shoots for a takedown but Sergeant saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dan Sergeant seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gracie gets cracked there but stands up to it.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sergeant working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Sergeant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sergeant connects with a couple of short punches. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jordan Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gracie being controlled for a moment. Sergeant trying to control the position but Gracie is working away. Sergeant staying calm. Sergeant has knee on belly momentarily but Gracie bucks him off and regains half guard. #T3# Sergeant working Gracie over with strikes. Sergeant is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sergeant sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gracie defending well though. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Sergeant shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sergeant performing his best blanket impression for a moment. #T4# Sergeant looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Sergeant with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that's the end of the fight! Dan Sergeant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sergeant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Nice sprawl there from Gracie as England shoots in.#TD2# Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.#SUB2# England wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Gracie's hips, looking to push off. But Gracie grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! England screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Jordan Gracie! A very excited looking Jordan Gracie rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
