#R1# A telegraphed right hand from Robert misses the target. Suutari changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Suutari shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Robert sprawls well. Robert wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Suutari gets slowly back to his feet. A big right from Robert misses. Suutari ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Robert stuffs the takedown attempt from Suutari. Suutari gets slowly back to his feet. Kimmo Suutari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robert dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Suutari. That did some damage! Robert misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suutari looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimmo Suutari. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robert lands with a slapping head kick. #T1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Suutari is defended easily by Robert. Robert lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Suutari misses with a takedown #CL2# and Robert holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Suutari fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Suutari drops down looking for an ankle pick but Robert pulls his leg out and moves away.
Robert keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Despite the aggression on Robert's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Suutari shoots and misses and Robert counters with a big head kick but Suutari shrugs it off. Robert throws a series of strikes that have Suutari backpedaling.
Suutari throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robert's waist but Robert gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Suutari off to one side. Suutari is breathing heavily.#CL2# Robert clinches up with Suutari and pushes him back against the cage. Robert creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Suutari's defenses. A nice glancing elbow lands by Robert. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suutari goes for a takedown attempt but Robert pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Suutari shoots and misses #CL2# and Robert counters by moving into the clinch. #T2# Robert working the clinch nicely. Suutari is working for position but Robert cracks him with a big knee to the head! Suutari crumples up against the cage and Robert lands two more shots before the ref can save Suutari! This one is all over!
