#R1##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Hendrix enables Maia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hendrix manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hendrix is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Maia dives into side control.
#REVR##SUB2# Maia thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hendrix is trying to buck Maia off. Maia controls the position from side control.#SUB2# Maia is trying to get an arm triangle but Hendrix is defending well. Maia controls the position from side control.#T1##SU2# Maia stands up and we're back to a striking position. Maia throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #CL2# Maia moves into the clinch. Maia keeps control of Hendrix as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Maia has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Maia lands with a short shot to the head. Hendrix really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hendrix tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. #TD# Hendrix pulls Maia into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nice strikes from Maia there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maia performing his best blanket impression for a moment. #T3##SUB2# Hendrix pushes Maia off, looking to escape but Maia dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Hendrix is forced to tap! The fight is over!
