#R1##CL2# Grams moves into the clinch.#TD2# Grams turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Grams tries for a kimura but Benton is defending well. #SUB2# Grams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Grams throwing strikes but Benton manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Benton lands a decent elbow from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Benton is chipping away with strikes.
Benton tries to score with some ground and pound. Grams controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Grams manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Grams wants to control but Benton is keeping him busy. Benton really is a fat lump. Benton tries to get to full guard but Grams has control of the leg. #T1# Grams wants to pass the guard but Benton is defending well. Benton is looking for a sweep. Grams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Benton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Well, if Grams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Benton is refusing to be controlled, as Grams sits in half guard. Benton controlling the position well. Benton is trying to control but Grams passes into side control!
#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Grams has control of an arm but Benton manages to advance to Grams's back! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Grams covering up well under a series of strikes from Benton. Benton is punishing Grams with strikes - can he finish him?! Grams is in bad spot here.
Grams trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Benton doesn't have the hooks in and Grams manages to turn into his guard.
Benton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#SU2# Grams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Benton, up you get! #T3##TD2# Benton tries to sprawl but Grams drives through with a takedown into half guard. Benton is concentrating on defense, preventing Grams from advancing position. Grams tries to pass to full mount but Benton defends it. #SU2# Grams stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. #TD2# Grams gets a takedown into half guard. Grams looks winded! Grams content to control rather than advance. #T4##SUB2# Grams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Benton is just riding it out for now. Grams eventually gives up the hold. Benton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grams on the ground. Benton is looking to improve his position.
Grams is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benton tries for a takedown but Grams manages to get underhooks.
Benton stalls. A nice glancing elbow lands by Benton. Benton has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Grams after a bit of a struggle. #TD# Benton drags the fight down to the ground.
Grams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Benton's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grams working Benton over with strikes. Benton wants to get back to full guard. Grams is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#SUB2# Grams looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
#T2# Grams sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Benton wants to control but Grams is having none of it. Grams scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Benton?
Grams working away from the top, dropping strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Benton has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

#R1##TD# Dupa tries to sprawl but Benton drives through with a takedown into half guard. Benton misses with a head shot. Dupa uses the momentum to regain guard. #SUB2# Dupa is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Benton has his hands clasped together but Dupa extends and breaks Benton's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dupa.

#R1##CL# Benton takes the fight into the clinch. Benton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tzovalzeck avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tzovalzeck gets underhooks to prevent Benton's takedown attempt.
Benton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tzovalzeck fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse Benton. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Tzovalzeck closes the distance and pushes Benton back into the cage.#BC# Benton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
