John half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
John shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grayson pinned against the cage. Grayson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
John slips under a jab from Grayson.
It looked like John was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Grayson cracks John with a good jab.
John fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Grayson lands a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John shoots for a takedown but Grayson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corner John. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grayson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Grayson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but John moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
John is looking for a counter combo.
Richard Grayson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
