Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. McGillicuddy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab. Nice body punch from McGillicuddy. Johnson defending well as McGillicuddy loads up on a big left hand. Johnson misses with a looping right. Johnson throws a predictable looking body shot
and McGillicuddy counters with a stiff right hand. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McGillicuddy tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McGillicuddy swings and misses with a hook to the body.

After winning the bout, Mighty Johnson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Johnson throws a body shot but no joy. Polyanskiy looks to land a right hand but Johnson moved out of range. Polyanskiy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Polyanskiy somewhat. Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Polyanskiy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dong throws a looping overhand right but Vip ducks down to avoid it. Dong throws the left hand but Vip avoids the punch easily. Dong misses with a body shot.
Vip is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Dong with a body shot. Dong throws a body punch but Vip moves out of range. Vip throws out a counter right but Dong avoids it with no problem. Dong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vip. Despite the aggression on Vip's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A cross from Punk lands. Dong blocks a jab. Dong was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nice shot lands for Dong. Dong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Punk doesn't seem bothered though. Dong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dong lands a jab to Punk's midsection. A looping hook to the body misses from Punk. Dong does a little dance to reset his feet. CM Punk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punk throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Donk. Punk catches Dong right on the button with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Punk jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dong is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Dong misses with a wild body shot. Punk misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Dong to counter with a crisp jab. Punk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.#ROC2# Dong is rocked! Dong appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Nice body punch from Dong. A jab lands there for Dong.#ROC# Punk is rocked! A combination from Punk does no damage. Dong scores with a jab to the body. Punk looks winded! Punk takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dong cracks Punk with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Punk is still on wobbly legs! Can Dong finish him? Dong pounces like a tiger and cracks Punk with a vicious hook! Punk is down but not out! Dong follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
