Tim looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jay Brown.
Well Brown has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Brown is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Tim still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Tim has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Tim will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Submission of the night, I'd say!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tim can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tim can't keep his opponent in guard - Nailor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nailor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kent shoots for a double leg takedown but Tim sprawls well. He's pushed Kent's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kent tries to close the distance and clinch but Tim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
