McGillicuddy throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Nice body punch from McGillicuddy - that landed with a thud.
McGillicuddy leaning his opponent against the cage. McGillicuddy scores with an uppercut up the middle. McGillicuddy digs a right hand underneath Jackhammer's ribcage. Jackhammer let out a lung full of air as it connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGillicuddy lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jackhammer. McGillicuddy stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. McGillicuddy is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Jackhammer misses with an elbow strike.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, McGillicuddy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jackhammer managing to block the knees to the body from McGillicuddy.
McGillicuddy has been working on his balance at London Top Tier , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Jackhammer. McGillicuddy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A right hand to the body from McGillicuddy.

McGillicuddy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jackhammer up against the cage. McGillicuddy scores with a jab to the jaw. McGillicuddy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jackhammer is able to avoid easily. McGillicuddy scores with a three punch combo!
#ROC# Jackhammer is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Jack Jackhammer has been cut. McGillicuddy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackhammer with the counter takedown but McGillicuddy avoids it easily. Jackhammer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nice uppercut lands for McGillicuddy. That snapped Jackhammer's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackhammer takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Jackhammer is still on wobbly legs! Can McGillicuddy finish him?#T4# McGillicuddy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Jackhammer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jackhammer tries to get into range but McGillicuddy steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Jackhammer! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! McGillicuddy scores the big KO victory!

Hardman is looking to stall here but Jackhammer recovers full guard. #SUB# Hardman has gone for a leg lock! Jackhammer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hardman's guard.#REVB# Jackhammer tries to free his leg and advance position but Hardman is retaining full guard. #SUB# Hardman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jackhammer trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackhammer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hardman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#T1# Hardman can't keep his opponent in guard - Jackhammer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jackhammer stalling away here and it's allowed Hardman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackhammer looking to sit in guard and control but Hardman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##T3##SUB# Hardman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackhammer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! Jackhammer wants to control from the top but Hardman keeps moving. #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#SUB# Jackhammer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackhammer has managed to get both his arms back between Hardman's legs - danger averted. Jackhammer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Hardman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackhammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackhammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jackhammer wants to control from the top but Hardman keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackhammer wants to stand and escape but instead Hardman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Punt Hardman dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Jackhammer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackhammer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackhammer! #REVB# Jackhammer trying to control the action but Hardman is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hardman gets back to half guard.#T1# Jackhammer is trying to control. Hardman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. #SUB# Hardman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.#SUB2# Jackhammer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hardman defends it well. #SUB# Hardman has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Jackhammer. Oh but Hardman has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Jackhammer goes limp - he's gone! Hardman jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

#R1##TD# Lima drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jackhammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lima scoring with some ground and pound. Lima throwing strikes from guard but Jackhammer blocks nicely. Lima throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lima trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lima's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jackhammer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lima working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jackhammer keeping moving, preventing Lima from controlling successfully. Jackhammer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. #T1# Lima throws an elbow that misses. Jackhammer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lima's guard. Nice move by Jackhammer!#REVB# Lima might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackhammer wants to control from the top but Lima keeps moving. Lima seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Lima wants to hit a switch here but Jackhammer passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Lima there! Jackhammer tries to control but Lima wriggling away. #T2# Jackhammer controlling his opponent. Jackhammer trying to control but Lima is having none of it. Lima tries to lock up and control but Jackhammer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lima tries to control the position but Jackhammer now has his back.
#T3# The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jackhammer's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
#SUB2# Jackhammer working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Lima is doing well to defend. Jackhammer seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Lima is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Jackhammer! Jack Jackhammer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
