Mooney could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mooney is looking to work some ground and pound but Edwards has wrist control.#SUB# Mooney drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mooney jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mooney throws an elbow that misses. Edwards uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mooney's guard. Nice move by Edwards !#REVB# Mooney looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Edwards accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mooney keeping moving, preventing Edwards from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mooney holds on and takes a little breather. #T1# Edwards tries to free his leg and advance position but Mooney is retaining full guard.
