#R1# Larin throws a right hand that Robert ducks under and follows up with a left that Robert also avoids with ease. Robert is looking to counter with head kicks. Robert throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Robert pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Larin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Larin throws a leg kick and Robert makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Larin really felt that one! Larin connects with a solid leg kick. Larin avoids the head kick by Robert.
A head kick misses from Robert. #TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Robert. Robert scores with a couple of short elbows. We've been hearing good reports from Robert's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Robert is staying tight to Larin's torso, preventing him from escaping. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Robert seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Larin for as long as he can get away with. Robert has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Larin is trying to improve his position.#SUB# Robert looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Robert controlling the position from side mount. Larin is looking for a sweep.#T3# Larin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Robert has just dragged him back down to the mat. Robert is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Robert has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Larin! Robert tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. This is a sustained period of stalling by Robert. Larin is desperately trying to improve his position but Robert has a good base and remains in mount.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#SUB# Larin reaches up to try and pull Robert in and control his posture, but Robert latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Larin taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Larin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ling throws a right and a left that Larin avoids nicely. #KD2# Larin lands a big head kick that sends Ling tumbling to the mat! Larin takes a step backwards and waves Ling back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT2# It looks like Ding Ling has been cut. Larin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ling moves in looking to clinch but Larin pushes him off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ling darts in trying to clinch and Larin counters with a head kick that wobbles Ling - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Larin sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Makim Larin! Ding Ling spoke after the fight, saying 'I will be back better than every to prove my good JJ skills.'.

#R1# Larin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Marveux. #TD2# Marveux shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Larin's guard. Larin is trying to keep Marveux in close.
Marveux landing some decent shots from guard. #SUB2# Marveux drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marveux jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Larin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Marveux lands a couple of decent looking shots. Marveux has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Marveux tries to free his leg and advance position but Larin is retaining full guard. Marveux postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marveux lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Larin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Marveux. Larin controls Marveux momentarily but Marveux frees himself. Larin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #SUB# Larin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marveux defends well.#T1# Marveux scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Larin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Larin tries to get out of the position. Marveux is working Larin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Marveux with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Larin is fighting to maintain full guard but Marveux has managed to sneak the leg through. Marveux landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Larin is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Larin taking some punishment here, with Marveux in his half guard. Marveux is thwarting Larin's attempts to control the position.#SUB2# Marveux is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Larin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
