Gay gets caught flat footed, as Shukaev shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Shukaev trying to control the position from guard on top but Gay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shukaev prevents Gay from getting back to his feet.
Shukaev with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Shukaev content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Gay controls Shukaev momentarily but Shukaev frees himself.
Shukaev forces his way into half guard.
Shukaev prevents Gay from standing back up.
Shukaev takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Shukaev slips a nice elbow through Gay's hands, connecting with Gay's forehead.#ROC2#

Shukaev in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Gay tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Shukaev!
