Malone has Lodbrock pressed against the cage, preventing Lodbrock from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lodbrock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Malone just stands there and leans against the cage. Lodbrock is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Malone to keep the fight standing. Malone is pressed up against the cage. Lodbrock has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Malone down to the mat. Malone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Aldo Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ragnar Lodbrock. Lodbrock tries to bum rush Malone with a series of wild strikes but Malone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lodbrock tries to clinch up but Malone circles away and keeps his distance. Lodbrock dodges the punch combination from Malone.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lodbrock wants to land a leg kick but Malone is out of range. Monroy working Malone over with strikes. Monroy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Monroy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monroy trying to control from half guard but Malone is working away. Malone trying to control here.

Rome tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Malone has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Malone moves to the back position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rome rolls, trying to escape but Malone keeps control of the position.

McGregor tries to clinch there but Malone circles away.
Malone moves out of range of the strikes. McGregor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McGregor wants it to stay on the feet.#KD2# McGregor lands a left and a right that send Malone crashing to the mat, dazed. McGregor thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2# Malone is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Aldo Malone has been cut. McGregor connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Malone out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Conor McGregor decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. #R1# Malone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Finlay's waist but Finlay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malone off to one side. Malone misses with a two punch combination.
Malone looks to score with a jab to the body but Finlay is just out of range. Finlay is looking to clinch. Malone throws a big counter combination but Finlay scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Finlay avoids a punch combination nicely.
#TD# Malone shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Finlay napping and manages to drive through into side control! Finlay is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Finlay tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Malone easily slips into full mount! Kralj manages to get full guard. Kralj is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Let's hope that Kralj has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Malone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Malone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Kralj is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Malone is aware though and is defending well. Kralj is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position.
