#R1# Guzan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Moses tries to clinch up but Guzan circles away and keeps his distance. Moses tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Guzan looks like he wants to counter punch here. Guzan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. No luck for Moses with that takedown attempt. Guzan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.#TD# Moses scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Guzan is trying to escape back to his feet but Moses uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Moses wants to stand but Guzan is controlling his arm. Guzan wants to get back to his feet. Guzan is looking for a sweep. Guzan can't do much from the bottom here. Moses prevents Guzan from escaping the position. Moses trying to control the action but Guzan is working from the bottom. #T1# Guzan throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Guzan is looking for a sweep. Moses passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Guzan! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moses controlling his opponent. Moses working the ground and pound effectively.
Guzan tries to hold on but Moses pushes him away. #ES2# Guzan somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Guzan tests Moses's chin there with a solid looking shot. Guzan lands a jab to the head.
#T2# Guzan moves into range and connects with a jab. Moses takes one on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moses tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Guzan defends well and Moses ends up having to push Guzan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It seemed like Guzan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nice straight punches there by Guzan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Guzan. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moses is defended easily by Guzan. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Guzan! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Moses. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guzan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Moses momentarily.
Guzan pounces like a tiger and cracks Moses with a vicious hook! Moses is down but not out! Guzan follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
