Number letting Silvarez take a breather here. Number swings wildly with an uppercut but Silvarez uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice right hand lands inside from Number. Silvarez prevents a body shot from Number. Number doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Number. Silvarez blocks a punch to the side of the head.

I was talking to Number's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Number swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Silvarez tries to clinch up but Number pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Silvarez to the mat! Silvarez covers up and Number unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Jules Winnfield Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Winnfield Jr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Silvarez has a couple of punches blocked by Winnfield Jr.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Winnfield Jr dips a shoulder and cracks Silvarez with a mighty uppercut! Silvarez falls back against the cage and Winnfield Jr unloads with a barrage of strikes! Silvarez is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Winnfield Jr screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
