Preston is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Preston has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Preston accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Preston has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ortz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Preston's guard. #REVB# Ortz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Preston is keeping the position for now. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ortz's corner. Preston wants to stay close but Hegg steps back to make room for something. Preston seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Hegg and Preston drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Deda slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Preston controlling the position. Preston looking for a sweep. Not yet Preston, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Preston bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Deda's guard. #REVR# Deda has a closed guard, preventing Preston from standing up. Deda trying to keep a closed guard but Preston is proving a slippery customer.

That will dishearten Preston somewhat. You can see the frustration on Preston's face as Ragnarson controls the position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ragnarson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Preston is looking for a sweep. Ragnarson working the ground and pound but Preston is defending the strikes. Preston manages to get back to half guard. Preston trying to hold on to Ragnarson's head to control him but Ragnarson postures up.
