#R1# Boxer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively. Carter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Boxer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Boxer prevents a takedown attempt there.
Boxer wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boxer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boxer is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks. #T1# Boxer is trying to push Carter away but Carter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Boxer has had enough of the clinch but Carter keeps him there for the moment. Carter is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Boxer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robbie Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter tries for a takedown but Boxer manages to get underhooks.

#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Boxer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Boxer wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
Carter drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boxer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boxer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Carter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Carter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#SUB# Carter is looking for a kimura here.

Carter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carter controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Carter trying to control but Kruger is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Carter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Carter wants to control from the top but Kruger keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1##TD# Arellano closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carter did well to prevent Arellano getting side control. Carter is staying active underneath Arellano, who seems content to just control the action from this position. #SUB# Arellano is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Arellano thows an elbow strike that misses. Carter gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Arellano doesn't seem too bothered but Carter quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Arellano is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Arellano really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
