Neo scores with a shoulder strike. Neo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Panchenko looks winded! Neo is working Panchenko over against the cage. Neo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Panchenko backwards. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Panchenko fails to pull the fight into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neo lands a nice uppercut. Neo lands a shoulder strike. Neo lands with a left to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Neo lands with a right to the head. #R1# Kantogo throws out a powerful jab. Panchenko shoots in for a takedown but Kantogo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Panchenko lands a head kick. Kantogo smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Kantogo lands with a right hand. Panchenko has his takedown stuffed letting Kantogo counter with a right hand. #ROC# Panchenko is rocked! Panchenko looks winded! A low kick from Panchenko is predictable there and Kantogo counters with a big right hand! Oh Panchenko is in trouble here! Kantogo follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Balboa tries to free his leg and advance position but Panchenko is retaining full guard. Panchenko looking to control.

Balboa wants to stand but Panchenko has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Adonis Balboa dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Panchenko goes for a takedown attempt but Nig pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Panchenko darts in looking for a takedown but Nig gets double underhooks and turns Panchenko into the cage. Panchenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Nig connects with a looping right hand.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anton Panchenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Panchenko is trying to pull guard but Nig has him pressed against the cage. Panchenko pushes off an throws an elbow but Nig leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Panchenko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nig avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Nig lands with a right to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Nig. Nig lands with a short shot to the head. Panchenko takes a shot to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Panchenko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nig to keep the fight standing.
