Woodly tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kami goes for a takedown attempt but Woodly pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Woodly closes the distance but Kami moves to the side and Kami counters with a straight right hand. Woodly tries to clinch but Kami is having none of it. Kami swings for the body but Woodly moves out of range.
Kami keeps the fight on the outside. Kami feints the counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Woodly gets caught napping as Kami dives in and scores a takedown. Woodly manages to retain guard. Woodly wants to stand up but Kami is controlling him. Kami lands a couple of elbows. Kami looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kami is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Woodly is looking to stand up but Kami isn't so interested in that idea. Woodly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Woodly tries to get out of the position.#T1# Kami sitting in guard, not really doing much. Woodly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kami is controlling him. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kami cracks Woodly with a solid left hand. Kami lands a couple of elbows. Kami is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Woodly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#T3# Let's hope that Kami has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kami postures up and lands a big shot to Woodly's brow. Woodly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kami is controlling him. Kami scoring with punches to the head and body. Kami controls from within his opponent's guard. Kami won't allow Woodly to get back to his feet. Kami makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Will he be able to recover?!! Kami's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kami loads up on a big left hand. Woodly felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kami looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Woodly can't hide his disappointment, as Kami celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiruko Kami! Hiruko Kami really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Lion Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

#CUT2# It looks like Olli Toivonen has been cut. Toivonen misses with a short punch on the inside. Toivonen can't find room to land a body shot as Woodly controls the action.
Toivonen is trying to stall.
Woodly stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Woodly comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Woodly working Toivonen over with knees to the body. A battle for position here, against the cage. Woodly landing knees to the head.

This has been an exciting period of action! Toivonen is looking to control Woodly's arms but Woodly gets an underhook and turns him. Now Toivonen has his back to the cage. Toivonen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Toivonen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Woodly lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. #T1# Toivonen wants to stall.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Toivonen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Toivonen can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Woodly. Woodly landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

A head kick misses from Woodly. Summers shoots for a takedown but Woodly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Woodly throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #CL2# Woodly clinches with his opponent.
