#R1# Stihl lands a nice looking body shot.
Da Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stihl but Stihl pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stihl swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Da Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stihl scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Stihl misses with a few strikes there.
And Da Silva tries to counter it with a takedown but Stihl pushes his down on his head and steps out. A jab from Stihl finds it's way through Da Silva's defenses. Stihl fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Da Silva checks it well. Stihl throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stihl leaves Da Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stihl wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Da Silva moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.#CUT2# It looks like Andreas Stihl has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stihl, as that shot connected.

Stihl lands a nice uppercut. Stihl lands a right hand. Stihl presses Da Silva against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Stihl stalling the fight.
Da Silva is pressed up against the cage. Stihl has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Da Silva down to the mat. Da Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Da Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Stihl, looking for a takedown. Da Silva pushes Stihl against the cage but Stihl circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stihl pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Stihl misses with a looping left.#T2##CL# Stihl gets in close and instigates a clinch. A nice left hand lands by Stihl.
Da Silva takes a shot to the head. Stihl lands a body shot. Nice body punch from Stihl. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Da Silva avoids the elbow strike from Stihl, against the cage.

A telegraphed right hand from Stihl misses the target. Da Silva is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Stihl will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Da Silva moves out of range as Stihl strikes. A leg kick checked by Da Silva. Da Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stihl. A head kick by Stihl misses #KD2# and Da Silva counters with a right hand that sends Stihl tumbling to the canvas! Can Da Silva finish him? He dives into Stihl's guard looking to do just that!#ROC2# Stihl is rocked! Da Silva trying to control but Stihl is working from the bottom. Oh Stihl is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Da Silva postures up in Stihl's guard and throws a big left but Stihl blocks it. Da Silva trying to control but Stihl is working from the bottom. Da Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Da Silva wants to control from the top but Stihl keeps moving. Stihl seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Stihl fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Stihl is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Da Silva can do to turn this around? Stihl slaps away a takedown attempt from Da Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stihl is looking to score with low kicks. Stihl throws a good cross that connects.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Stihl here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Stihl lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #BC# Stihl breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Da Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stihl tries to avoid it but Da Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stihl to the ground. Stihl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A cross from Da Silva lands.#KD2# Da Silva drops Stihl with a big left hand and mounts him. Stihl is in big trouble! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stihl is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
