Clark pushes off an throws an elbow but Jackson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Jackson is working for a takedown up against the cage. The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Jackson doesn't seem to be complaining.

A very excited looking James Clark made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. In defeat, KJ Jackson stepped up to the mic, saying '"You win or you learn. I'll be back."'.

Doroteo Arango seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arango misses with a series of wild punches.

Arango tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Arango. Arango misses with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Jackson. Arango works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Jackson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Arango screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1##KD# Wrestler lands a big right hand that sends Jackson crashing to the mat! Wrestler stays standing though and waves Jackson back to his feet!#CUT# It looks like KJ Jackson has been cut. Wrestler throws a monster overhand right that drops Jackson! Wrestler follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Senegalese Wrestler! An out of breath Senegalese Wrestler thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. KJ Jackson was interviewed post fight and said '"You win or you learn. I'll be back."'.
