Diaz tries to clinch but Simbecka is having none of it. #CL# Diaz darts in and clinches Simbecka up against the cage. A short left from Diaz. Simbecka is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Diaz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz effectively controlling the action here. Minakov moves in looking to clinch but Simbecka pushes him off. Oleg Minakov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Minakov throws a nice looking combination but Simbecka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
