A little nod from Monte there as he acknowledges the shot. Monte's coach down at LOD: Club Pain was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Monte's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fighters circle momentarily. Monte darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Kamura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Monte uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kamura. Mick Monte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Monte explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Monte moves out of range of the strikes. Kamura jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Monte throws out a loose jab but Kamura uses good head movement to avoid it. Kamura tries to bum rush Monte with a series of wild strikes but Monte uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kamura throws a shot from downtown. Monte moves away and avoids it. Monte throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kamura on the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Monte displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kamura throws out the jab. Nice jab there from Monte. Kamura slips under a jab from Monte. Monte cracks the inside of Kamura's front leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Monte dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Monte keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Monte has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Monte throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Monte avoids the body shot from Kamura.

Kamura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A big left from Kamura misses. Monte fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kamura on the side of the head. Monte throws a good cross that connects.
Nice shot lands for Monte.#ROC2# Kamura is rocked! Monte throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kamura stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Oh Kamura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Monte scores with a nice head shot. Kamura takes a shot to the body in his stride.
#T2# Monte scores with a big combo that sends Kamura crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Kamura flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Monte jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

Kamura clobbers Naharis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kamura jabs at Naharis's body. Naharis misses with a left hand and Kamura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kamura lands a body shot.
Kamura takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Naharis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kamura.
Sasuke Kamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kamura slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Kamura looks to land a combination but Naharis avoids it well. Naharis connects with a solid leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Naharis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kamura to score with a decent uppercut. Naharis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kamura lands a lovely overhand right. Naharis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kamura manages to avoid it. Kamura moves out of range of the strikes. Naharis thows a body kick. Kamura tries to catch it but that hurt him. #T1# Kamura uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Naharis has time to react.#KD2# Kamura clips Naharis with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Naharis a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.#ROC2# Naharis is rocked! Naharis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Oh Naharis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kamura has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Kamura is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kamura paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kamura scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Naharis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kamura lands the left hand. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Naharis.

Kamura manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Naharis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Naharis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Naharis is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!

Kamura scores with a jab to the body. Riley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kamura counters with a left and a right that stings Riley. Kamura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kamura rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Riley counters with a stiff right hand. Kamura displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Riley throws out the jab. Kamura throws a leg kick and Riley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd cheers as Riley lands an impressive looking overhand right. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Riley throws a body shot but no joy. As Riley looks to move away, Kamura throws a big counter combo but Riley just gets out of the way. Sloppy strikes from Kamura. Those never looked like landing. Kamura throws a shot from downtown. Riley moves away and avoids it. No joy there for Kamura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Riley raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Kamura lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kamura thows a left - swing and a miss! Kamura takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Opin connects with a single shot there. Kamura rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Opin makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kamura really felt that one! Kamura misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kamura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by . is looking to counter with a body kick. A punch combination from Kamura misses. Kamura throws an off balance right hand
and counters with a thumping low kick. #CL# instigates a clinch. #TD# turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Kamura tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. This has been an exciting period of action! looking to control and managing it successfully. Kamura is trying to stand up. working away from the top, dropping strikes.#T1# lands a heavy elbow. sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kamura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. BOOM! connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kamura can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee warns Kamura that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
