Zavimbe fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Duncan on the side of the head. Zavimbe misses the shot to the body. Zavimbe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Duncan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Duncan slips a straight right by Zavimbe. Duncan feints the counter takedown. Decent striking displayed by Zavimbe there. Zavimbe misses with an uppercut
#TD2# and Duncan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Zavimbe! Zavimbe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duncan on the ground.#SUB2# Duncan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Zavimbe is trying to escape and Duncan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Zavimbe is forced to tap! Nice work there by Duncan! Very nice indeed!

#R1# Zavimbe smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.#CUT# It looks like Frank Williams has been cut. Zavimbe stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Williams tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Zavimbe to counter with a crisp jab. #ROC# Williams is rocked! Williams gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Zavimbe gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Williams is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

#R1# Zavimbe misses with a left hand and Maxichuk counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Maxichuk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zavimbe. Maxichuk is looking to counter punch. Zavimbe misses with a series of wild punches.
Maxichuk is looking for a counter combo. Zavimbe throws a hook to the side of Maxichuk's head but Maxichuk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Zavimbe throws a hook but Maxichuk avoids it easily. Zavimbe lands a jab. Zavimbe lands a glancing blow to the side of Maxichuk's head.#CUT2# It looks like Gregor Maxichuk has been cut. Zavimbe looks to land a combination but Maxichuk avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zavimbe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maxichuk was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Zavimbe misses with a right hand and Maxichuk counters with a nice body shot. Zavimbe throws a lazy right hand but Maxichuk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Zavimbe misses the target. Maxichuk is looking to counter punch. Maxichuk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #T1# Nice jab there from Zavimbe. Zavimbe lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Maxichuk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It looked like Maxichuk was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#KD2# Zavimbe lands a left and a right that send Maxichuk crashing to the mat, dazed. Zavimbe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2# Maxichuk is rocked! Zavimbe lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Maxichuk up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Zavimbe from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Maxichuk's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

#R1# Boroser on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.#CUT# It looks like Yancy Boroser has been cut. Boroser slips under a jab. Zavimbe throws out a loose jab but Boroser uses good head movement to avoid it. Boroser is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Zavimbe throws an overhand right that lands on Boroser's shoulder, as Boroser tries to avoid the shot. Boroser shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Zavimbe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boroser doesn't seem bothered though. David Zavimbe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zavimbe throws a right and a left that Boroser avoids nicely. Zavimbe misses with the combination.
Boroser is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Zavimbe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boroser's head backwards. The fighters circling - Zavimbe throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Boroser throws a predictable looking body shot
and Zavimbe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Zavimbe with a body punch. A glancing blow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boroser walks into a stiff left hand from Zavimbe. Boroser slips under a jab from Zavimbe.#T1# Zavimbe jabs Boroser to the body, keeping him at a distance. Boroser keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zavimbe. Boroser stuns Zavimbe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Zavimbe thows a left - swing and a miss! Boroser shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zavimbe pinned against the cage. Zavimbe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Zavimbe cracks Boroser's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Boroser slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Zavimbe can do further damage! This one is done, son!

#R1##CL# Whitehead clinches up with Zavimbe and pushes him back against the cage. Zavimbe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Whitehead backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Zavimbe. Zavimbe swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Zavimbe lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #BC# Whitehead breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zavimbe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Zavimbe slaps away a takedown attempt from Whitehead, before circling back to the center of the mat. Whitehead with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zavimbe to score with a decent uppercut. Zavimbe lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Zavimbe scores with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Whitehead doesn't manage to clinch there - Zavimbe circles away.
Zavimbe closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Whitehead! Zavimbe dives in looking to finish! Whitehead is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

#R1# Zavimbe's corner calls for a 1-2. Zavimbe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Zavimbe scores with a jab. Whitehead acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Whitehead takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Zavimbe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Whitehead circles away quickly and effectively. Zavimbe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Whitehead shoots in but no luck this time. Whitehead tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zavimbe defends well and Whitehead ends up having to push Zavimbe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Zavimbe lands a nice shot that snaps Whitehead's head back.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Zavimbe softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Whitehead changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zavimbe fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Whitehead. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zavimbe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zavimbe wants it to stay on the feet. Zavimbe drops Whitehead with a naaaaasty hook - Whitehead is in real trouble here! Zavimbe dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

#R1# Zavimbe lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Zavimbe. A decent looking cross lands there for Zavimbe. A jab lands there for Zavimbe.#ROC2# Cote is rocked! Cote shoots in looking for a takedown but Zavimbe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cote's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zavimbe unleashes a big counter combination but Cote bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Oh Cote is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters circle momentarily. Zavimbe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Zavimbe tries to bum rush Cote with a series of wild strikes but Cote uses good footwork to avoid the assault. As Zavimbe tries to get set, Cote tries to push him back and clinch up but Zavimbe manages to avoid the attempt. Cote takes a jab right on the kisser.
