#TD2# Hong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. My spies in English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) inform me that Hong has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!#SUB2# Hong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Potter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Potter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Potter keeps working. Hong might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Potter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.#SUB2# Hong is trying to get an arm triangle but Potter is defending well. #SUB2# Hong has hold of Potter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Potter seems comfortable defending it but Hong has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Potter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Potter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hong couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1##TD2# Hong shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Greeves manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hong stopping the sweep attempt from Greeves.#SUB2# Hong is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Greeves is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Greeves has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# Hong is trying to keep Greeves in close.
Greeves is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Greeves wants to control from the top but Hong keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hong is trying to control the position but Greeves postures up. #T1# Hammerfist, elbow! yells Greeves's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hong working a defensive guard but Greeves manages to pass into side control anyway.

#R1##CL2# Hong tries to keep at a distance but Akiyama has taken the fight into the clinch. Akiyama using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hong has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Akiyama lands a nice elbow. Hong is trying to push Akiyama away but Akiyama has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Akiyama has Hong pushed against the cage. Akiyama scores with a knee to the head.
Hong is trying to pull guard but Akiyama has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Akiyama lands a damaging elbow. #T1# The referee calls for Akiyama to work.

Nice move. #REVR# We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Akiyama can do anything to dispel that myth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Akiyama is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Hong wants to control the pace but Akiyama is squirming around nicely. Akiyama tries to buck Hong off but he can't manage it. #SUB# Hong is working for a guillotine from mount but Akiyama frees his head quite easily.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Akiyama is trying to stand. Akiyama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hong . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Hong has isolated one of Akiyama's arms. Akiyama looking to fight him off but Hong twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

#R1# Barry throws a body kick that misses. #TD2# Hong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hong controls the position. #SUB2# Hong is working to tighten his grip on Barry's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Barry has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hong is really squeezing tight and eventually Barry passes out! Hong breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
