#TD# Morriston darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mendes tries to kick Morriston off but Morriston keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Morriston working the head and body with strikes. Morriston lands with a punch from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Morriston lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morriston lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Morriston is nestled in close to Mendes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#ROC# Mendes is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morriston slips a nice elbow through Mendes's hands, connecting with Mendes's forehead. Armstrong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Armstrong keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#ES# Mendes manages to escape and get back to his feet! Mendes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mendes throws a combination that misses #TD2# and Armstrong counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mendes! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mendes wants to get back to his feet but Armstrong drags him back down. Armstrong moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1##SUB2# Armstrong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mendes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mendes is pushing Armstrong's head away, looking to escape. Armstrong manages to hold on to the position though.#SU2# Armstrong has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Mendes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #TD# Munoz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mendes to the mat! Mendes manages to get full guard. Munoz chips away with some ground and pound. Munoz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munoz cracks Mendes with a solid left hand. Munoz chips away with some ground and pound. Mendes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Munoz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Munoz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Danga de danga de dang - Maximillian scores with a four punch combination! Maximillian fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mendes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Mendes throws a combination that misses enabling Maximillian to counter with a crisp jab. Mendes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CL2# Maximillian moves into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mendes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mendes blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mendes avoiding damage as Maximillian throws knees to the body.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mendes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Lee is looking for a counter combo. Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lee stays in close to Mendes's body and controls the position. Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mendes for as long as he can get away with. Mendes is looking to stand back up but Lee counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mendes. Lee drops an elbow to the side of Mendes's head. #T1##SUB# Lee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Crunch! Mendes slams his shin into Quick's torso. Quick takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mendes just misses with a punch to the body.

Mendes pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Quick back to the cage. Mendes follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Mendes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Quick counters with a three punch combo that has Mendes backing up. Mendes nods at Quick to acknowledge the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mendes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
