#R1##TD2# Veros shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hyde throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Veros in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hyde controlling Veros's posture. Hyde can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Veros controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Veros makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Veros connects with a couple of short punches. Veros chips away with some ground and pound. Hyde is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Veros content to stall in guard here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hyde avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Veros wants to stand but Hyde is controlling his posture from full guard. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hyde darts in trying to clinch and Veros counters with a nice uppercut. #ROC2# Hyde is rocked!#TD2# Veros shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Veros slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Veros lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
