#R1##TD2# Saenz drives through with a takedown into Atkins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Saenz trying to control but Atkins is working from the bottom. Saenz postures up in Atkins's guard and throws a big left but Atkins blocks it. Saenz throws an elbow that misses. Atkins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Saenz's guard. Nice move by Atkins!#REVR# Saenz throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Saenz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Atkins is controlling him. #SUB2# Atkins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Atkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Atkins wants to control from the top but Saenz keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atkins stays in close to Saenz's body and controls the position. Atkins prevents Saenz from getting back to his feet.
