#R1# Hicks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dangerous's waist but Dangerous gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hicks off to one side. #CL2# Dangerous fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hicks, pushing him back against the cage.#BC2# Dangerous breaks the clinch.
#CL# Hicks pushes Dangerous up against the cage in a clinch. Hicks has Dangerous pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dangerous manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hicks has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dangerous avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Hicks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dangerous lands a nice knee to the body. Hicks has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dangerous after a bit of a struggle. #TD2# Dangerous has hold of one of Hicks's legs. Hicks is fighting the takedown attempt but Dangerous gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Dangerous must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dangerous wants to stand but Hicks is controlling his posture from full guard. Hicks throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Hicks throws up his legs and catches Dangerous in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Dangerous tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Hicks! That came out of nowhere!
