#R1# Silva shoots in for a takedown but Roteva shows good takedown defense. Roteva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Silva counters with a two punch combo. Roteva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#TD2# Silva dives in and scores a takedown into Roteva's guard.#SUB2# Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roteva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva, into his guard. #REVR# Silva lands an upkick as Roteva stands over him. Silva lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Silva distracts Roteva with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva won't allow Roteva to get back to his feet. Roteva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roteva looking to control.
#T1# Silva landing some decent shots from guard. Silva is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Roteva is trying to keep Silva in close.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB2# Silva drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Silva as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Roteva screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Silva! Nice submission victory there!

#R1# Roteva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Khaybulaev's head.#TD# Khaybulaev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roteva was covering up waiting for the punch and Khaybulaev finishes the takedown easily into guard. Roteva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Khaybulaev postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Khaybulaev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Khaybulaev chips away with some ground and pound. Khaybulaev wants to control from the top but Roteva keeps moving. Roteva has momentary wrist control but Khaybulaev slips an elbow through the middle. Khaybulaev postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Khaybulaev is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Khaybulaev works over Roteva with some ground and pound from guard. Khaybulaev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Roteva's head. Khaybulaev trying to control but Roteva is working from the bottom. Roteva throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Roteva controls Khaybulaev momentarily but Khaybulaev frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roteva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Khaybulaev is one step ahead there. #SUB2# Roteva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Khaybulaev defends it easily. Khaybulaev controls from within his opponent's guard. #T2# Khaybulaev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Roteva's head. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Khaybulaev sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roteva's guard. Khaybulaev drops an elbow to the side of Roteva's head. Khaybulaev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khaybulaev connects with a nice short shot to Roteva's temple. Khaybulaev working Roteva over with strikes. Khaybulaev is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Roteva wants to get back to full guard. Roteva on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Roteva is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Khaybulaev scores with a couple of nice shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Khaybulaev takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Khaybulaev lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Khaybulaev looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. #T3# Khaybulaev working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Khaybulaev winds up and cracks Roteva with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #ROC# Roteva is rocked! Khaybulaev is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Roteva is still in real trouble! Can Khaybulaev finish him? Khaybulaev lands a big elbow - Roteva is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Khaybulaev!
