#R1# Joelzin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hazdingo Joelzin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zyd scores with a sloppy right hand. Joelzin should have avoided that one. No luck for Joelzin with that takedown attempt. Joelzin darts in looking for a takedown but Zyd gets double underhooks and turns Joelzin into the cage. Zyd scores with a jab to the head.
Zyd lands a body shot.
Joelzin tries for a takedown but Zyd circles away easily and Zyd counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hazdingo Joelzin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joelzin shoots for a takedown but Zyd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Joelzin get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Joelzin stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Zyd runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

#R1# Joelzin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smutni swivels and escapes. Joelzin fails with the takedown.#TD# Smutni fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Joelzin sprawls well initially but Smutni persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joelzin tries to roll over but Smutni keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Joelzin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smutni pulls his head out easily. Smutni is trying to control. Joelzin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Joelzin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smutni is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joelzin keeping hold of Smutni's head, controlling as best he can. Joelzin gets back to full guard.

Smutni is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smutni manages to kick Joelzin off! Joelzin jumps back into Smutni's guard. Smutni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joelzin on the ground.#SUB2# Joelzin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Joelzin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #R1# Roosevelt shoots in looking for a takedown but Joelzin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roosevelt 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Joelzin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#TD# Joelzin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Roosevelt quickly recovers to half guard.#SUB# Joelzin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roosevelt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Joelzin. Roosevelt wants to improve his position but Joelzin is controlling well.

Roosevelt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joelzin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
