Noriega is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Long. Noriega stuffs the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Long. Noriega lands a high kick!
Long stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Noriega.#CL# Noriega moves into the clinch successfully.
Noriega lands with a right to the head. Noriega lands with a light punch inside. #BC# Noriega manages to break the clinch.
A jab from Noriega finds it's way through Long's defenses. Long on the wrong end of a nice hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Noriega throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Long crashing down! Long tries to stagger back to his feet but Noriega just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Long asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Kimura content to control rather than advance. Long tries to kick Kimura off but Kimura keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Long trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#T1# Long doesn't manage to clinch there - Kimura circles away.
Kimura drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Long defends it well. No luck for Long with that takedown attempt. Kimura tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Long looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#TD2# Long gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kimura to score an easy takedown into full guard. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Long has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Long tries to clinch but fails miserably and McArthur counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#KD# McArthur lands a big head kick that sends Long tumbling to the mat! And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Brandon Long. Well Long has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
