#R1# Messi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Messi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Messi digs a good hook to Koscheck's body.
Messi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koscheck moves away. Messi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Koscheck momentarily.
#CL2# Messi has closed the distance and engaged Koscheck in a clinch.
Messi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Messi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Messi. Messi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Koscheck or not. A right hook to the body lands for Messi.
Messi lands a hook that snaps the head of Koscheck backwards. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A short right hand to the side of the head by Messi.#ROC2# Koscheck is rocked! Messi digs a right hand into Koscheck's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Koscheck's gas tank. Messi dropped down on all fours and is barking in Koscheck's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Leonel Messi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1##CL# Hendricks rushes Koscheck and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#TD2# Koscheck ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Koscheck no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hendricks is looking to work some ground and pound but Koscheck has wrist control. Koscheck wants to sweep but no luck. Koscheck bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hendricks's guard. #REVB##ES# Hendricks has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Koscheck is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Hendricks tries to pull guard but Koscheck won't allow it.

Hendricks wants to control from the top but Koscheck keeps moving. Koscheck wants to stand up but Hendricks is controlling him. Hendricks throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Koscheck keeping moving, preventing Hendricks from controlling successfully. Koscheck utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hendricks darts in looking for a takedown but Koscheck gets double underhooks and turns Hendricks into the cage. Josh Koscheck has got the better of the ground game so far. #R1# Sloppy strikes from Hillaszhaw. Those never looked like landing. Hillaszhaw throws a lazy right hand but Koscheck sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Koscheck is looking to counter the offense by Hillaszhaw and move into the clinch. DJ Hillaszhaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hillaszhaw throws a right hand that Koscheck ducks under and follows up with a left that Koscheck also avoids with ease. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Koscheck is defended easily by Hillaszhaw. Danga de danga de dang - Hillaszhaw scores with a four punch combination! Hillaszhaw misses with a double jab.
Koscheck shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hillaszhaw pinned against the cage. Hillaszhaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hillaszhaw looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
