Conor tries for a takedown but Buffer manages to get underhooks.
Conor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Buffer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mcgregor Conor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conor is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Buffer pulls him back up using the underhooks. Conor changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Buffer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Conor wants to take the fight to the mat but Buffer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Buffer lands with a right to the head. Conor is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Buffer pulls him back up using the underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buffer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Conor.

Buffer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Conor backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Buffer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #CUT2# Mcgregor Conor's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Conor is looking for a takedown. Buffer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Conor backwards. #ROC2# Conor is rocked! Buffer lands a big right hand that drops Conor! The killer instinct kicks in and Buffer finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Buffer!
