#R1# Khan misses with a wild combination.
Barnes just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Barnes misses the target. Barnes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Khan throws a shot from downtown. Barnes moves away and avoids it. Khan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Barnes. Barnes circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Barnes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Khan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Khan looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Khan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Barnes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khan tries to avoid it but Barnes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khan to the ground. Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Barnes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Billy Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Barnes misses. Barnes throws a nice looking combination but Khan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Barnes. Khan cracks Barnes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A slow jab from Barnes misses its intended target. Decent striking displayed by Khan there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barnes at a distance.

Khan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barnes to stand back up!#ROC2# Barnes is rocked! Khan loads up on a big right hand but Barnes slips the punch. Oh Barnes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Barnes cracks Khan with an open hand slap. Khan drops his hands momentarily and Barnes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Barnes seems to have got his legs back now.#KD2# Khan lands a big right hand that sends Barnes crashing to the mat! Khan stays standing though and waves Barnes back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Khan drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Barnes's head, knocking him out cold! Khan is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

#R1##TD2# Barnes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bourne to the mat! Bourne manages to get full guard. Bourne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barnes controls the pace. Bourne wants to stand up but Barnes is controlling him. Barnes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Barnes trying to control the position from guard on top but Bourne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bourne throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Bourne keeping moving, preventing Barnes from controlling successfully. Barnes stops Bourne from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bourne will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bourne striking off his back but it's not causing Barnes any problems. Bourne wants to stand and escape but Barnes is having none of it. Bourne tries to kick Barnes off but Barnes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Barnes winds up and cracks Bourne with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Barnes content to control rather than advance. Barnes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bourne is trying to stand back up but Barnes is controlling him

Bourne is staying active underneath Barnes, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bourne looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bourne has hold of Barnes's hands but Barnes slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Barnes is nestled in close to Bourne, controlling him well.
